Kazunori KASAMA Japan

Dr. Kasama graduated from the School of Medicine, Gunma University in 1990. He started practice of laparoscopic bariatric surgery in 2002. Now he is one of the leading surgeons in the field of bariatric surgery not only in Japan but also in Asia. He is the Director of Weight Loss and Metabolic Surgery Center, Yotsuya Medical Cube in Tokyo, Japan. He is a past president of IFSO-APC (International Federation of Surgery for Obesity and metabolic disorders Asia Pacific Chapter), a past president of Asia Pacific Metabolic Bariatric Surgery Society (APMBSS), Vice president of Japan Society of Treatment for Obesity (JSTO). He also plays a roll of an executive board (Treasure) of ELSA (Endoscopic and Laparoscopic surgeons in Asia). He likes to play Karate, Muay Thai, surfing and Brazilian Jujitsu
