Dr. Hassan Ahmed, MBBS, FCPS (SURGERY), FCPS (Surgical Oncology), MRCPS (Glasgow), MRCSEd (Edinburgh) Consultant Surgical Oncologist, Patel Hospital, Karachi, Pakistan Dr. Hassan Ahmed is a Consultant Surgical Oncologist at Patel Hospital, Karachi. He completed his Fellowship in Surgical Oncology (FCPS) from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. His clinical interests include minimally invasive oncologic surgery, complex abdominopelvic malignancies, and surgical training in low- and middle-income countries. Dr. Ahmed has been actively involved in surgical education and skills development, leading workshops on laparoscopic basic surgical skills, stapling techniques, and safe energy device use. His ongoing projects focus on developing structured surgical training programs and integrating cost-effective innovations to improve cancer care delivery in resource-limited settings. He has presented and published work on laparoscopic surgery and surgical oncology, with a growing interest in advancing multidisciplinary collaboration and standardizing cancer care pathways in Pakistan. Dr. Ahmed’s long-term vision is to establish a comprehensive skull base and neuro-oncology center in Pakistan, promoting excellence through education, research, and ethical surgical practice.
