Dr Marc obtained his medical degree from National University of Singapore in 2010, received his postgraduate Masters of Medicine (Surgery) degree in 2015, exited as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) in 2018 and was accorded Specialist accreditation in General Surgery by the Ministry of Health, Singapore in the same year. Dr Marc is an accomplished general surgeon with dual sub-specialty expertise in Hernia Surgery and Breast Cancer Surgery. As the founding lead of the Hernia Surgery Service at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, he heads a team of dedicated surgeons and is actively engaged in training specialists locally and internationally. His expertise is recognised regionally, with invitations to conduct workshops and proctor surgeries in countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, and Taiwan. He also serves as a invited faculty at the IRCAD training institute in Taiwan and is an active member of the Asia Pacific Hernia Society (APHS) and the Endoscopic & Laparoscopic Surgeons of Asia (ELSA).
