Dr Eric Fang Consultant Radiologist & Clinical Director Department of Diagnostic Imaging, National University Hospital, Singapore Profile Dr Eric Fang is a Consultant Radiologist and Clinical Director of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging (DDI) at the National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore. He subspecialises in Breast Imaging and Image-Guided Interventions, with a strong focus on oncologic imaging and minimally invasive localisation techniques. He leads the department’s Savi Scout radar localisation service, supporting breast-conserving surgery and precision oncology. Dr Fang also oversees a wide range of breast interventional procedures including stereotactic wire localisation, vacuum-assisted excision, and clip placement, working closely with breast surgeons and oncologists within the NCIS multidisciplinary care pathway. As Clinical Director, he supports the development and integration of advanced oncologic imaging services, contributing to NUH’s mission of providing world-class cancer care. In addition, he plays an active role in education and research, training residents and fellows in breast imaging and interventional techniques, and participating in translational studies such as photoacoustic imaging for intraoperative margin assessment. Dr Fang is a frequent speaker at public health forums, with a passion for bridging radiology and surgical oncology through innovation and collaboration.
