Tan Yah Yuen Singapore

Dr Tan Yah Yuen is a senior consultant general surgeon in clinical practice for more than 30 years and has for the past 20 years dedicated her practice to breast surgery. Prior to starting her own private practice in 2010, she was Senior Consultant at the Breast Surgery Department, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Singapore. She treats the entire spectrum of breast disorders including breast lumps, nipple discharge and breast cancer. She is well published in the field of breast surgery and has also received several awards for service excellence including the EXSA silver, gold and star awards in Singapore. She has a special interest in minimally invasive biopsy procedures for the breast and sentinel lymph node dissection and its variations. She is currently Medical Director of Solis Breast Care and Surgery Centre, the first and only multi-disciplinary integrated breast care centre in the private sector in Singapore. She is also co-editor of the 250-page book “The Breast Years of Your Life – Living Well After Cancer”, published in 2025. The book provides insights and recommendations by 14 healthcare professionals in improving quality of life and reducing recurrence risk after breast cancer.
