LO Hong Yee Singapore

Dr Lo Hong Yee is a consultant general surgeon with clinical interests in acute care surgery, trauma surgery, hernia surgery, clinical education and research. He also has keen interests in patient safety, medical error prevention, and junior doctor working conditions. After his post graduate training in general surgery, he was awarded the Fulbright Scholarship to pursue a Masters in Public Health in Policy and Management. In his previous capacity as Chief of Medical Corps in the ​Singapore Armed Forces, he was responsible for both the healthcare services, as well as the continued training of medical officers. Now, he is involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate education, and the residency programs. In his spare time, he volunteers with the Ministry of Social and Family Development’s Committee on Fostering.​
