In 2016, she went on to obtain a Fellowship at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Asst Prof Ng was awarded the Human Manpower Development Programme Scholarship and completed her Oncoplastic Breast Surgery Training in 2021/2022 in the Nottingham Breast Institute, United Kingdom where she trained formally under both Plastic Surgery and Breast Surgery to be proficient in the whole scope of Oncoplastic Breast Surgery. She has also been invited to be a Member of the International Post Graduate Deanery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. In December 2023, Asst Prof Ng took the helm of starting the first clinical robotic breast surgery programme in Singapore. This programme has enabled patients to enjoy the benefits of minimally invasive breast surgery such as shorter hospital stays, better preservation of nipple sensation and better aesthetic and patient reported outcomes.
