Prof Dr. Subhash Khanna is the Founding President of the Association of Robotic and Innovative Surgeons, Dean of Swagat Academy of medical Sciences and the Chief Adviser of Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons IAGES. He is one of the leading laparoscopic and robotic surgeon of North-east India known for his many pioneering work. He has been at the forefront in educating young surgeons of the country in MAS techniques. An eminent teacher, a dedicated worker, Dr. Khanna has many firsts to his credit. Apart from delivering over 200 CME Lectures & Orations & contributing many chapters to journals and publications , he has also been instrumental in starting advanced laparoscopic surgery, ERCP, NBI, Spyglass cholangioscopy, Endoscopic Thyroidectomy, Bariatric surgery, VAAFT, endoscopic hydrocele and scrotal surgery (first report in world literature), fasciotens surgery for complex hernia and Robotic Surgery for the first time in the North East India.
