OH Han Boon
Dr Han Boon Oh is a Breast & Endocrine Surgeon and Head of Department of General Surgery & Head of Division of Breast & Endocrine Surgery at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, part of the National University Health System (NUHS) Singapore. He graduated from NUS with an MBBS and Masters in Surgery and obtained his Fellowship in General Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. He completed his Endocrine & Breast Surgery Fellowship at the University College London Hospitals Trust (UCLH) NHS Trust on an MOH HMDP award. His surgical interests are in minimally invasive endocrine and breast surgery including Transoral Thyroidectomy, Retroperitoneal Adrenalectomy and Endoscopic Breast Surgery. His other interests include autofluorescence in Thyroid & Parathyroid surgery, Surgical Informatics and AI in Surgery. He is also a passionate educator, serving as the Programme Director for the NUHS Surgery-In-General Residency Programme, Adjunct Associate Professor at NUS YLLSOM and recently completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Professions Education from the University College London (UCL) UK as part of his educational development.
